The proofing system tells me there is an issue with a personalization tag in my email but I don't recall putting one in. If I did put one in accidentally, I can't find it and I can't send my email without removing it. How do I find this tag in my email?

Hi there!  If you're getting a personalization tag error and aren't using one, there is likely a link that has something in it that LOOKS like a personalization tag.

Taking a quick look at your mailing, the link for the event "The Annual Front Line Defenders Lecture" has some coding in it that Emma will take for personalization.  You'll want to check out that event again in Facebook and make sure to grab the link that looks like the others, where it just has the   https://www.facebook.com/events/########

That way it doesn't have all of the extra in there that confuses the editor and may break the mailing in general.

Check that out and let me know if you have any questions!

I have the same question. I've checked all my links and even tried a search for the tag name '7B' in the HTML but nothing comes back. I have no idea why my email won't send as I didn't use any personalization tags. The email name is GCCF - Counselor #2 - 2017

The second error is a broken link which I'm pretty sure is in the header of the template. That one I'm working on fixing but if you can help there too that would be great.

Thank you,
Britt

Do you have a Facebook event link in the mailing?   That was what I described above, and the answer was to get the shortened version of that link.  See my original response above.
