How do I re-add a contact that was previously deleted?

I am testing automations and used my email to test it. I deleted my email and the automation and started from scratch. However, when I re-added my email, I get the error message that "At some point, your email address was removed from this list. Please contact the sender directly to request re-admission or changes to your email preferences." But I'm no longer in contacts to edit my status. What do I do?

Have you tried going to your signup form and signing back in?

yes - and that is where I get hte error message.

Hi there!

You can re-add your contact into the account by retrieving it from your Archived Items.

Simply go into your "Archived Items" (in the Settings drop-down menu) and Recover that contact. Your "Archived Items" can be found in the drop-down menu from your name in the top right corner or the Settings button (X shape made of Screwdriver and Wrench) in the top right corner.
