How do I send an automated series of emails to one email address (not a group or segment) when I decide to send it (not based on a trigger)?

Hey there -- There's no way to automate an email series without using one of the automated triggers, but I think we can accomplish this with a signup trigger. You could create a new signup form for the sole purpose of triggering this email series. You'll want to create a new group to feed those signups into and designate that group in the form settings. Then you can build a workflow designating that new group and the signup trigger specific to to the new form.

You can then manually sign those contacts up via the form to trigger your automated email series to them whenever you need to! You'll be able to use that new form once for each contact.

Let me know if that sounds like a good solution! You'll find more on using the automation workflow builder and signup triggers in our Resource Center!

On a sidenote, you'll want to be sure to disable the manage preferences email for that new signup form so that any contacts already in the audience will not receive that email:
