How do opt-outs work for EMMA SalesForce App?

I am thinking about using the EMMA SalesForce app, but I have had issues with EMMA's opt-out. EMMA does global opt-outs, but we have several different programs within our Org. This means we have to have campaign opt-outs not global opt-outs. Is this possible with the EMMA SF App?

Hi There!

Your current account only allows for a global opt out option.  Take a look at this post for more information on opting out by emails here.

You may want to consider a different account type.  Typically, our University customers have an Organization account where you are able to set up sub accounts under your organization umbrella.  You would be able to create a sub account for each program and the opt out process would only apply to that sub account.  For example, if you have a contact that is in 3 different sub accounts and they choose to opt out of 1, they will remain an active contact in the other two.  If that is something that you are interested in, give me a shout here or give us a call at 800.595.4401 and any of our friendly Customer Support Specialists will be happy to go over the account type and billing plans.

If you do choose to go with the Organization account, Salesforce will only be able to sync with 1 sub account.  So if a contact opts our of one sub account and still remains in 2 in Emma, Salesforce would show that contact as being opted out.
