How do you track new subscribers against subscribers who opt out of an audience?

How do you track new subscribers against subscribers who opt out? I only see how to get total # of subscribers in audience, but this isn't descriptive enough.

We're seeing a slight decline in one of our audiences and we need to know what emails have been added to a list, and what emails have unsubscribed - not just a big number that is a sum of all of this activity at the time of a mailing.

What are my options?

Hi there,

It sounds like you would like to get a more detailed view of your audience numbers, and luckily, there are a couple places to find that.

First, I would recommend you head to the Response page. Here, you can select a mailing that you would like to get some more information on. Clicking on the name of a mailing will take you into its detailed response view. Using the labeled tabs, you can see which members of your audience have joined your list or opted-out of your list after receiving this mailing.

Now if you want some information on your audience as a whole, I would check out the detailed group view from the Audience page. You can get there by clicking on the name of any group in your audience. When you are in an audience group, you can use the “Change Column Display” button in the top right-hand side to customize the fields you see, then you can sort by that column. For example, by clicking the “Contact Since” column, you will be sorting the group by the date the member joined it. This is especially handy for when you want to see who your newest members are.
