How to Present Signup Info on Redirect Thank You

Hello,

I am trying to set up a custom redirect page for a signup I am building here in myEmma. My goal is to give the user something similar to the default thank you page that your signup has, however, I want it to be on my website. I am well aware that I can send it to any web address, but just sending it to any random address would not provide the user with the confirmation info that they would get on the default page because that part will always be user specific. I am also aware that there are APIs in place from which I can get that user's information via the user's member id, and then use it to show them a confirmation similar to yours. However, this still poses the issue that I need to pass the member_id to my custom page. The simplest solution would be to add it as a parameter and pull that from the URL when the page is loading. I am not aware however if there is a way to have your form send the member_id that it gets back from its POST request as part of the URL. Is there anything put in place that would help me accomplish this?

Hi Alice!

While our custom API is a self-help tool and outside of what we would be able to support, I will say that we have a great API resource for connecting to Emma with your own resources found at http://api.myemma.com/

I hope this helps point you in the right direction and let us know if we an help with anything else!

Thanks,

Zach
