How do I change an Error status back to Active?

I'm trying to send a mailing test to myself, and I'm getting a message that my email address has a status of Error. Checking my contact record, I see that my email address hard-bounced the last time I sent to it.

How do I change my address back to Active so I can email myself?

You can change a status from Error to Active by going into your contact record on the Audience page. Use the search bar at the top-right to find the contact.

Check the box to the left of the address, and choose selected contacts in the dropdown menu.

Click the change their status button, select Active from the dropdown menu and click Change.

A popup box will ask if you’re sure, and you’ll confirm. That’s it!

I followed these directions but the only option I get is error or opt out. I want these to be active and I know that it is a viable email- as it is my own! Please please help!

Hey Susan, 

If you're only seeing those two options, that would point to you being on the active tab.  If you notice in Katie's example above, she's on the ERROR tab.  

I'm going to reach out to you via email to get some more information on this from you, specific email addresses, etc.
