How do I view Emma Activity at the Account-Level in Salesforce?

In Salesforce, I can't see Emma activity under Accounts, only under the individual contacts within that account. Is there a way to sync the Emma activity for contacts related to an account at the account level? Otherwise this information is pretty useless to upper management who are trying to see all account-level activity.

Hi there, Allied Telecom!

The Emma for Salesforce integration is designed to use a one-to-one sync, so using email address as the unique identifier, our integration syncs the contact in your Emma account to one lead or contact record in your Salesforce account that has the same email address. Our integration isn't built to display that Emma Mailing data on the account layouts, but I'll most definitely pass along that feature request to our product owner of the integration to be considered as we work on future versions of the application.

Although it isn't something that our integration does, it may be possible to use a flow or some custom coding to generate the information and pass it along to the account layout. Unless you're super savvy with the flow engine and developing your own Salesforce customizations, you'd probably want to loop in a Salesforce developer to do that custom coding and development for you.

Are there any plans to add any kind of account integration?  Failing that, on a scale of 1 to 5, about how difficult would it be for someone who is moderately adept at salesforce development to make that happen?  BTW - I have no idea why I am showing up as MeeshCorgi.

As of now, there aren't any plans to rework the Emma for Salesforce integration to sync with accounts in addition to leads and contacts. I have definitely passed along that feature request to the integration's product owner, so as we continue to refine the package and plan the roadmap of work for our developers, it will be an idea that's considered.

I'm not sure how difficult it may be to use a flow or some custom coding to generate the information and pass it along to the account layout. Although I'm pretty savvy when it comes to the Emma for Salesforce integration, I don't have any experience with the wide variance of custom development that is possible within Salesforce itself.

As for why you’re showing up as MeeshCorgi, is it possible that you have multiple Emma accounts and have accessed the community through an account other than Allied Telecom? Nonetheless, you can go to https://community.myemma.com/me/edit to edit your community profile.
