How do you win your email marketing challenges?

We’re in the customer support business because we like giving resolutions and seeing results. That’s one of the reasons July 18’s social media marketing chat here in the community was so fun: We talked about the challenges you’re up against, and, in some cases, we were able to provide a solution with Emma Social, our beta social posting and response product.

If you’ve been a community member for a while, you’ve likely received an email from me pointing to specific conversations where a fellow Emma user could use your expertise. These emails were seeing 30%+ open rates, yet that was declining over time: The social media event’s email invitation had a 27.16% open rate and 8.82% click rate. I opted for the Performance Workshop package with our Concierge Team to strategize about what was and wasn’t working. We talked about frequency, sending time and email content, and the team helped segment Emma Community's audience to reach the most engaged.

I got a huge win out of this endeavor:



By segmenting and sending the event reminder to only those who’d clicked in the original event announcement, exhibiting their engagement, the email had a perfect 10 mailing score, 49% open rate and 26% click rate. Be still, my heart.
