I've noticed a bug that's driving me nuts! On webkit-based email clients (Apple Mail, Outlook 16, Gmail, iOS) there is a height specified to the markup when images are place. It's a few pixels taller than the images, thus creating a small gap between them. This does NOT occur using the good ol' image drag and drop.. only when images are placed within the HTML drag n drop. The reason why I use the HTML drag is so that I can apply classes to the images.

And, with that, I found a fix.

Add
font-size: 0px; to the table in the template.
