HTML Not Saving in Mail Campaign

Hello,

I've added a bulleted list to a current campaign and have changed the <li> to make the bullet appear white instead of the default black using <li style="color: #FFF">.

This works - however, when I save the campaign and come back to it OR when I send a test and go back to the mailing, the bullets do not keep the styling.   I've updated the HTML several times in crafting this mail campaign and would love to know a workaround or solution for this frustration.

I'm working from a MacBook Pro running Yosemite 10.10.5 and in Chrome.

Thanks!

Hi There,

First I want to double check that this didn't have to do with the AWS outage. Could you try setting up the HTML now and let me know if it holds? Let me know!

Hi Laura,

Thanks for the response.   I was hoping that it was tied to the AWS outage (and I sincerely empathize with the day you guys must have had...) but this issue was happening yesterday, as well.

I just tried it again:  opened my email from Campaigns, changed the HTML, saved the email, went back to the Campaigns menu, then back to the same mailing - the white bullets lose their style notes and revert back to <li>.

Thank you!

Hey there,

Ideally, you'll want to do this in an HTML block, because the following code will actually be retained:
<ul style="color: #69c1e8; font-size: 15px"><li>Bullet 1</li><li>Bullet 2</li><li>Bullet 3<br></li></ul>

Please note that the above code will work if you add it to the html of a text block, but you'll need to send the mailing immediately after the edit. If you add that code to the html of a text block, then leave or reload the mailing, that bit of code won't actually be retained in the mailing.
