When sending a test email blast, my email signature appears at the top of the email. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening when I send the final version to my email list? I'm using Chrome 52.0.2743.116, if that makes any difference.

Hey Ashley! I hopped into your account and looked at this campaign. You built it with HTML, and your code had part of the Emma template markup included which caused the preview section to repeat. When writing HTML for use in an Emma template, you'll want to remove all CSS and <body>, <head>, <meta>, <title>, <html> and Doctype tags from your code.

I made a copy of your campaign and retitled it Support. In the HTML, I removed all of those tags from the code (the first 23 lines were all deleted). After doing so, I sent a test and it rendered as intended, without the duplicate section at the top. You can look at my copy as a reference, and moving forward, you'll want to avoid those tags in any HTML campaigns you build.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any further questions!

Thank you so much Andrew! I copied the html from a third party vendor and didn't realize it had extra tags in the top. I appreciate your help.

Andrew, I'm seeing the email signature showing up on the bottom of the email now. I'm not sure which tags to remove to fix this. Could you please assist me?

Can you let me know which campaign you're working on? I checked the two latest campaign drafts but did not observe this in the footer. If you can, please include a screenshot as well and I'll take another look!

Here is a screenshot of the test email I sent myself this morning. The signature still shows up at the bottom of the email. The campaign name I am using is "Support - Love My Credit Union Rewards Email - COPY 2016-09-12 11:18 AM"

Hey Ashley! I have not been able to recreate your screenshot; I see nothing in your HTML code to account for it and every time I send a test to my work address or personal Gmail account, it's received without the signature and ends at the 'Powered by Emma' logo.

I notice that, in your screenshot, the email has [MARKETING] added to the subject line, which isn't included in the tests I sent to myself. Combined with the signature being added, I think your inbox / mail server has some sort of filtering system set up and is automatically modifying these emails and subject line. I'd suggest checking in with your IT department / team that controls your email system, as this isn't something controlled within the Emma app.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have further questions!
