I have a bunch of the combined time and text boxes going vertical down my mailing. I have the padding settings on both the images themselves and the box containing both the image and the text set the same. The images are the same size and the text is never longer than the image or spanning the box in any way.

Hi Megan and Ashley,

Thanks for a great question here and thanks for requesting a screenshot too Ashley.

I took a look at your mailing and could see that the padding was indeed the same across these pictures.  The reason the alignment was the same however, was due to the HTML behind the text box.  By clicking on the </> symbol in the formatting bar I am able to take a look "behind the scenes" of the text and I found that there was quite a bit of formatting code there.  The main pieces here that were effecting the alignment were a few <p> tags at the top in some instances, and in others there were a few pesky <p> and <br> tags underneath the text.  Basically these are line breaks.

These tags might be in there if that text was pasted in from an external source - in which case I'd advise pasting it in a plaintext environment like editpad.org first next time to eliminate any extraneous formatting code.  Alternatively that code could have also been there if there was a lot of formatting and reformatting involved with the creation of the text in the combo block.

You'll see a mailing titled "Support - Spring 2016" where I went ahead and removed what I deemed to be unnecessary formatting tags and found the alignment to be a lot more consistent.  Feel free to take a look and see if that looks better to you.

I hope that helps Meghan, please don't hesitate to ask me any follow-up questions on this -- I'd be happy to help!
