We sent out a company blast this morning and a team member mentioned that she received the same email 5 different times (all within a 2 minute span)... This person is in duplicate groups within our audience. I received the email twice as well, so I'm sure it happened to many other recipients.

How can we make sure recipients receive only ONE email? Is there any troubleshooting I can take?

Thank you for your help!

There are a couple of reasons this could have happened. There appears to be several addresses in the audience with the company domain that could be listerv addresses. It's really not a good idea to send to a listserv for a variety of reasons. One of the reasons being the possibility of a person receiving multiple mailings in a send.

Another thing that could have occurred is that if a single person has multiple email addresses in the system (for example abc@, bc.a@ or a.bc@) they are treated as separate and unique contacts. You may want to check your lists for duplicates.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
