I updated an image in a mailing campaign and double checked the html referenced the correct image. The image previews correctly but the test email still references the old image which doesn't exist online. I thought it just needed time to refresh but it's been all day. The image is correct when I check it directly in its directory. I even created a whole new campaign and it still references the old image. I'm using Google Chrome.

Hey Deborah!

It's important to note that the mailing in your inbox will not refresh to reflect changes made in the editor after you've sent your test. You'll need to send another test after your updates to see the latest version. Even if the image no longer exists, the image will still display in the originally-sent mailing.

Since you're also seeing this old image appear in the editor with a new campaign, you may need to completely clear out your browser's cache and cookies, then restart it before logging back into Emma.

If after clearing your browser, you're still seeing this old image, please reply with the name of the account, the mailing name, and any other details or screenshots you can provide and I'll go from there!

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the reply. I wasn't looking at the same email thinking the image would update. I sent about 20 test emails throughout the day. After clearing caches, clearing cookies, quitting apps, restarting, and ripping out almost all the hairs on my head. Nothing. It still kept referencing the old image. An image that was overwritten. I finally decided to rename the file and update the html to the new name and it worked. Why I didn't think of that HOURS before, I don't know but this new wig looks amazing. Hopefully, this will help save someone their day—and their hair—if it happens to them.
Take care.
Deborah
