I would like for the automation of turning my dates and url links into well limks I guess. I use several unlinked links in my press releases but when they are sent out and I receive my email they all automatically linked. or actually they don't ALL auto on the dates, so a list of dates one  row is highlighted and the next is not. How can I turn this off?

Generally the automatic linking happens in the receiving email server. For example, gmail will always make a date or a phone number a link, unless you change the code.

If you are familiar with coding the following code will help with the auto-links in many servers (More info about that here: https://litmus.com/community/code/321-how-to-prevent-gmail-from-changing-font-color-for-phone-number...). The code below works for dates and other numbers as well:

You can break up the phone number format so that Gmail doesn't read the phone number as a link. There are a couple ways to do this: First, you can change the middle three numbers in the number (615-292-5888) to a different color. Or, you can break up the format by adding span tags to the HTML, like this: 615-<span>292</span>-5888 or this: 615-<span></span>292-5888.

If you aren't familiar with coding, sadly, there isn't a way to keep this from happening.
