I would like to have block grouping.

Our mailings use a format of banner, heading, body, spacer repeating for each of products we are advertising. It would be a huge time saver if I could put those blocks into a group that I could reposition/duplicate/delete as a single block.

It’s so cool to hear ideas like this from Emma users. It gives great insight into how people are using the drag & drop editor.

We aren’t pursuing this right now because we have an in-progress project that's similar, in rethinking how content blocks work. But I want to call out a couple shortcuts that might help you:

  1. Say you want to create five content blocks that each have the above settings. You can create it once and click the yellow Duplicate button to, well, duplicate it for use within that same mailing.
  2. You can create a template layout of image placeholders and text boxes where you like them, click the downward-pointing arrow next to the Save button and select Save as Template. This will save what you’ve created as a reusable template in your account to select the next time and already have the arrangement and formatting you want.

Thanks for sending this idea our way! For others who would be interested in this capability, click the +1 button and let us know how you’d benefit from or use this. :)

Same use case as Diesel Performance Parts and would find this to be really useful. Two years later, what is the "in-progress project" that would provide similar functionality?

Hey there, I'm actually not 100% sure what Katie had in mind when she posted that.  Perhaps she was talking about Template Builder, which I believe you're familiar with.

So far as I know, we still don't have anything in the works to do anything specifically like this.
