If I have an email in two groups but I only want to send to one group and not the other, will it ignore emails in the group I am sending to because they are in the other group I didn't select? I need a way to NOT send to any group I didn't select. Confusing I know!

Here is an example. If I have a group of stores that sell appliances and I have a group of store that Consumer Electronics. Some stores sell both so they would be in both groups but what if I only want to target stores that sell appliances only and not Consumer electronics?

Hello!

While there is not a great way to select contacts unique to a particular group there is a possible solution to what you're looking to do!:

- You can create a segment based on your group you *don't* want to send to. When you go to Review & Send a mailing you'll have the opportunity to suppress this segment and select your group to send to. This will ensure the contacts found in the group your segment is based on, will not be sent to.

- If you're needing to suppress multiple groups, just have your segment include multiple groups in its parameters. More on building segments can be found here:

I hope this helps point you in the right direction!

Thanks

Zach
