Hi, I am trying to link an image to a URL in my newsletter. It works fine in preview, but whenever I send a test, the link goes to a 403 error page. The link appears in two other places in my newsletter (text hyperlinks) and works fine, but for some reason won't connect properly to the image.

Greg with Emma Support here!

Since you reached out first via phone, I left you a voicemail with the solution.

I want to note for the rest of the community what was discussed in case someone else is having a similar question.

Your mailing is using Google Analytics to track the links on your end.

In some cases, your website may not like the way a link from an image is formatted with the Google Analytics code applied and will give an error message.

The solution is to give the image alternate text; this changes the link enough that your website no longer gives the error message.

The following link to our Resource Center gives more information on working with images in Emma (including adding alternate text).
