Help! I have created a campaign and the images look great on the computer but on the mobile device they are blurry and pixelated. Tried changing image size but that didn't seem to do anything? Any thoughts? Its urgent!

Hi there,

We've seen reports of this, specifically relating to images displayed on Apple retina screens. You'll find some great info on how image size can relate to overall clarity on retina displays here.

Now, I don't want to get too far ahead of myself here, so I'd like to know if you are actually viewing on a retina screen, and what the image size you're using is. Please let me know the name of the mailing you're noticing this in as well.

If you're not using a retina display, please also let me know which device and email app you're using.

Thanks so much!

Help! I am not that skilled in coding and have read the attached article. I am working off a MACBook Pro and the images I create in Adobe Illustrator are fuzzy. See here the original. But when uploading into EMMA the quality goes down. This image is JPG size 650 x 879.
Shoot me an email or call > Sue Bender, sue@eventleadershipinstitute.com or (917) 301-6092.

Hi there! Going forward, if you export your images and upload them to Emma at 1280 pixels wide, that should produce sharp images on the desktop, mobile, retina screens, and non-retina screens.

The extra pixels are what's required to make images nice and crisp across all devices and screens.

For more detail about how we handle images for retina and non-retina screens, you can take a look at this article
