Archived and Closed

This conversation is no longer open for comments or replies and is no longer visible to community members. The community moderator provided the following reason for archiving: EOL CLEANUP

I imported a file with emails and names in the same field. Almost 1K contacts. If I archive this bad version, I get billed for the 1K useless files. I want to replace with a corrected file. OR I get stuck manually editing each of the files. I just want to UNDO and replace with a correct file.

Phone support tells me since these records are currently in "error" status, moving them from "error" to archive they will not be considered "active" for billing purposes.

Hi there!

I am very glad Emma Support was able to help with this issue!

The information you received is completely accurate. Due to the formatting errors of these contacts, they were immediately moved to 'error' status once the import was complete, and were therefore never active in your account. Only active contacts are included on your monthly statement, so you do not need to worry about being billed for those contacts.

At this point, you can archive them and re-import them in the correct format!

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
