Integrating with Gravity Forms - need to generate an API key

I am trying to have a more secure signup form by integrating with Gravity Forms. The instructions state that I can generate an API key from my settings tab.  That option is not available for me - it says I don't currently have one for my account. We are already integrated with Kindful - I'm not sure how that was set up. Is there some way I can generate one for my website integration?

Hey @SAVE,

Do you know if your account is a Standard/Pro account or an Agency/Org account? Usually an Agency/Org account would be run by either a parent org or an outside agency and would have one or more subaccounts.

Thanks,
Kyle

Hi Kyle,
Thanks for responding. I would guess we have a Standard account. I read other posts describing the Agency/org accounts, but I didn't see those options in our settings box.

Sounds good. You should have a small wrench located near the top right of your screen.

It may also be labeled as Account:

From there you should be able to select Settings & Billing, then within that area are the API keys.

P.S. you mentioned that you already had an active integration. If you do find your API section and it already has the keys generated, be aware that regenerating the keys will disable access to any program or process currently using those keys. To prevent this, either talk to your team and see if someone has that information already saved or be prepared to input your new keys into any existing integrations.

You'll know the keys are already generated because the Private API key will be concealed.

Hope that helps,
Kyle
