I'm trying to create a template which features a collection of articles. At the top there is supposed to be a full-width (1 column) featured article. Below it, there is a two column grid of the remaining articles. From what I understand, it is only possible to either do a 1 or 2 column layout. Is this correct?

I've tried to insert HTML tags around the "[% block %]" tags (or whatever they're called), but Emma strips them out. I've also tried putting a "[% block %]" into the header area, but Emma doesn't seem to like that syntax (I'm assuming that blocks need to be wrapped in the "[% layout %]" tags?).

I'm about to give up on the template, but perhaps someone out there can work some magic?

If it is impossible to create a 1 & 2 column layout, can this be a question and an idea?

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out!

If you're working in the Drag and Drop Template Builder, you can set up columns and then add rows on top and/or bottom by clicking the Rows button at the top:

NOTE:  You do have to turn on a Column layout before the Rows option will show up.

If you need a bit more info on using Template Builder, here's our help documentation:

Let me know if you have any more questions!
