Hi there!

Thanks for a great question.

Emma doesn't necessarily "track" those that don't open your mailings, but by tracking those that do open them enables us find out those that don't.  With the use of dynamic segments you'll be able to view a list of those contacts that didn't open your mailing by following a couple of steps.

Firstly, head on over to your Audience page and click on the Segments tab, which you'll find next to the title "Your audience."  We're going to create a segment based on Response history for your contacts.

Go ahead and click on "create a new segment," and then select "Response history" from the drop-down menu in the pop-up. Be sure to click "Add."  Now, we want to "Search for people who have not opened your mailing, then select a date range, or "at any point."  This will generate a segment that will display all of your contacts that haven't opened your mailing.  Once you've reached the screen below, click on "Done" and you'll have the option to add other rules to this segment.

Segments can be a really powerful tool and I'd recommend having a look at this article form our Resource Center here that can give you a bit more depth about using them to your advantage.

Hope that helps - but please feel free to hit me with any follow-up questions!

Just as a side note - I've changed the heading to make this question easier to find for those that might be wondering the same thing :)
