Is there a way, besides the "opt in" option to make sure a person's email/server on our list will not bounce. Could they add the email address that myemma uses to send our emails to their contacts? Or would an IT person be able to add an allowed IP address to accept emails?

Hi there -- Great question! In the case of bounced emails, the opt-in is unrelated. If a contact confirms opt-in or simply signs up for your list, that just tells you they want to hear from you!

It sounds like you're trying to avoid bounces resulting in error addresses. It's not a bad idea to add a note at the bottom of your messages encouraging recipients to add your sender address to their contacts list. We do make our sending IP addresses public for whitelisting purposes. That's really only necessary if you're having delivery issues to internal addresses -- sending from your internal domain address to other addresses within your company.
