Is there a way that lets me look up an email campaign and Emma can tell me the people that received that campaign?

When I look at a contact, there is an area that tells me all the emails that I sent to that person. Is there a way that lets me look up an email campaign and Emma can tell me all the people that received that campaign.

Hi Linda,

You'll be able to find a list of previously sent emails, as well as their recipients on your Reponse page.  Clicking on the name of the mailing will bring you to your Response overview. On this page you'll see the number of folks that received that mailing, clicking on that number of "delivered" contacts will present you with the list of contacts that have received that mailing.

If you then want to save those contacts in a segment to resend of exclude in the future, go ahead and click on "Save this tab as a segment".

I hope that helps!  Let me know if you have any follow-up questions here.

Thank! The challenge is that I sent the email campaign multiple times a month for the past 12 months. It will take me a very long time to check the recipient of each email. Since it's the same email that I resent, is there a way to see who each campaign went to without having to check each individual email.

Hi again!

I popped into your account and I could see that your workflow involves sending the a campaign to individuals, as opposed to groups at a time.  In which case I can totally see how that could be time consuming.

Even though a you may be sending a different mailing, each time you send it, it's recognized as a seperate campaign.  In this instance the quickest way to find a folks that received a particular mailing would be to create a segment.

Once you've looked at the guide above and are ready to give it a go, form your Audience page select the Segments tab and "Create a segment".  You can base it on "Response History" and then go head and select a timeframe (it looks like you send a few iterations of the same mailing over a month period) and be sure to look for contacts that meet any of that criteria.

Here's an example of what you'd want to be creating in the segment builder:

That segment there will find anyone that received any iteration of that particular mailing.

Let me know if you have any more questions :)

Thank you! I just created a segment called: Received Diastasis Recti Education and Repair Email and I included all the Diastasis Recti emails that I sent since January. The results say that there are no active contacts. Which is not correct because many of the contacts are still in my contacts lists in Emma. Am I missing a step?

Hi Linda!

You've done everything right except for one thing and that's changing the segment to look for contacts that meet any of the criteria and not all.  I jumped into your account, opened and edited your segment and changed the drop-box to "any".  I'll run you through how to do that yourself for next time below:

From within the segment itself, if you go ahead and click on "Edit this segment" you'll be brought back to the Segment Builder tool, if you go ahead and click the Edit button you'll be able to see this:

By changing it to match "any" of the criteria it's going to find any contact that has received any of those mailings.  Previously that search was - probably by default - searching for contacts that met "all" the criteria, meaning the segment was searching for contacts that received all of those mailings and thus returning zero results.

You'll now see there's about 1100 contacts in that segment.  I hope that helps!

That pretty much gave me everyone contact that I have in Emma. I just want the people that received those emails. There should be less than 100 people. Can you help me find only the people that received those emails not everyone in my contact list?

Hi again!

Looks like you had a stipulation at the bottom that was making this segment search for anyone who has every received a mailing at any time.  I went and removed that and now the only contacts that are displaying are contacts that have received those mailings specified.

Let me know if you run into anything else :)
