As I am preparing my current campaign, I notice the body content of the email is getting a little lengthy. I would like to accordian the text, having it expand with a "read more option" or by simply clicking on the material, much like I would do on WordPress.

Is this possible in Emma and how would I go about doing it?

Hey @JEJ Artists,

I don't think so. Most "accordion" features rely on JavaScript, something that most email clients either don't support or strip out. If you're using WordPress, I'd suggest when you need content to go longer, you "tease" the content to your recipient and then link over to your site either in a blog post or a page where they can continue reading.

Hope that makes sense and reach out again with any other questions.

Hi there!

Thanks Kyle for your post!  Kyle is right as there is not a way to 'accordion' text in a campaign.  I know you stated that the content is lengthy so I would definitely go with Kyle's suggestion of linking your readers to the content on your website.  We recommend if your campaign is larger than 40k worth of content, that can cause delivery issues in many email clients.  If the file size is too large, that can be flagged as spam by many spam filters on receiving servers and they will either deliver the campaign to the spam folder or bounce back the campaign.

Take a look at this RESOURCE CENTER ARTICLE for more details on how to link text to a url.

Let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything else I can do to help.
