Is there a way to have new subscriber notifications sent for Guestbook signups?

We want to have a notification sent using the email address of our choice, for all new signups done through our Guestbook for iPad app. Can this be managed at the group level, instead of at the form level?

Also, is there a way to delete entries from the Guestbook app? We tried deleting the entry from the group, but the app doesn't appear to sync. Tried logging out and back in, on the app.

Hi there!   Thanks for reaching out! 

1. YES, you can set up an Automated workflow that can fire a notification / welcome email out to folks that sign up using the Guestbook form.  It works the same as any other SIGNUP FORM TRIGGER,  you would just want to use the Guestbook Signup Form as your trigger source.  Check out information HERE ON AUTOMATION .  

2. You cannot do any Audience management from the Guestbook App itself.  You'd need to log in to your account in a desktop browser if you need to DELETE any contacts or do any other Audience maintenance .

Hi Grey: Thanks for replying. 1. I was actually asking if there could be an admin notification of when a user fills out the form in the Guestbook app. We will have an automated workflow in place for the audience member, but we wanted an internal notification of when someone signs up. 2. Does the contact list update in Guestbook, once a record has been deleted from the group, via logging in through desktop browser? It didn't seem to when we were testing, so wondered if there is some delay in syncing? Guestbook is syncing to main account, but doesn't seem to be working in reverse. Thanks, Lauren

Hey again!

1. Whoops!  I misinterpreted what you were looking for!  We don't have a way to set up an admin notification on Guestbook.  I'll be happy to add that request in to our developers for that, but currently there's not a way to do that.  

2. The list that you're seeing in Guestbook is not representative of the group or the contacts in Emma.  It's simply a list of contacts that have signed up on that device.  If you were to delete and reinstall the app, that would clear the list of contacts who have signed up using that iPad, but it is not meant to be representative of contacts that are in the group in Emma.
