Is there a way to mass-delete Emma mailings from Salesforce?

I want to whittle down my Emma Mailings tab in Salesforce so it doesn't contain mailings with only a few recipients. I know I can create a view for this, but I'd prefer to get rid of the small mailings altogether. Here are my questions:
1. Is there a way to mass-delete the mailings I don't want?
2. If I do that, will anything disappear on the Emma side?

I came across this older Emma Community conversation, and now that we've got a more evolved version of the integration live, I wanted to update our answer here. It's still accurate that to individually delete mailings from the Emma Mailings tab you'd want to click "del" to the left of the mailing in the grid. This deletes the response data from Salesforce but doesn't touch the response data in your Emma account. And it's still accurate that while the Salesforce data loader tool could be used to mass delete data from your org, that isn't something we'd be able to assist with on our end.

We have a new feature built into Emma for Salesforce now though that allows you to setup a schedule for data purging within the Emma Setup tab. If you're not likely to use mailing data older than a specific timeframe, you can specify a number of days beyond which you'd like to automatically delete all mailing activity. This is designed to help you manage the amount of storage the application uses over time, which might help avoid the need to mass delete Emma Mailings altogether. Read more about that feature here.
