Is your mailing's performance on par with others in your vertical?

You're already using the mailing score to see how your mailings compare to the rest of the Emma community. But how might your efforts compare to others in your vertical?

Our data analyst Ryan examined open and click rates by days of the week and vertical, and her results are so interesting! Here's the breakdown for mailings sent from the beginning of year through the beginning of June:

Agencies and resellers see their highest open rate, 18%, on Mondays. Their highest click rate, 10%, is on Tuesdays.

The hospitality, food and beverage folks see a 16% open rate on Mondays and Thursdays, and a close 15% open rate on Tuesdays and Fridays. Their highest click rate, 17%, is on Sundays.

Retail accounts hit a 29% open rate and 22% click rate on Sundays.

Small-medium businesses see a 20% open rate on Mondays and Wednesdays and an 11% click rate on Tuesdays.

Universities hit the highest open rate percentage during the date range she examined: 31% on Sundays. Their click rate, 12% was on Saturdays.
