Hi there! I can't think of a way to make this possible. While you can use an animated gif in your mailing, its images would repeat. It sounds as though this would only be possible using a widget on a website, not in an email, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has an idea!

Eventbrite has a widget that does this, but it is built in iframe. Can this be cut and pasted into a text zone in an email, or is there another way to use iframe?

You could try dragging in an HTML box and using the code there, but I think you’ll run into some problems — I’ve always seen iframe code in emails to cause errors. Let me know your result!

Hello again, after all this time. :) I found MotionMail, which has a free, embeddable timer for your emails. That should do the trick!

You can also use NiftyImages.com, to create really custom timers with background images and more.
