Clicks on external links on our emails are not being tracked in EMMA response reporting. We know this is incorrect since an email we sent out tracked over 200 visits to the website in Google Analytics but zero clicks we tracked in EMMA. What could be causing this issue?
We are using the dynamic variable [% mailing:mailing_id %] in the URL, but this was provided to us by the EMMA team to assist with us tying analytics data to an individual email in Google Analytics. We were never told this would break tracking. Are you saying this is what is causing the issue? If so, is there anyway around it? It seems odd to me that EMMA would provide a dynamic variable for their customers to use and then not support tracking for it.
Is there someone that can take a look at our account to confirm?
