Issues with Segmenting by Postal Code

So I'm having a problem with building a segment by postal code. When I choose Postal Code as my Group, the condition "within" is not an option. Any ideas how to fix this issue?

I like to take a look at some things that affect those segments, specifically the contact field of "Postal Code" and why "within" is not an option. While we dig into this, here are a few links to our extensive resource center about Contact Fields and Segment Building for Zip Codes.

The reason you are unable to select "within" when attempting to set up a segment is that the contact field for Postal Code, is the field type set up as "Short Answer" instead of a Postal Code. Until you attempt to utilize a Postal Code field with the field type, the option to select within will not be available.
