You want to save time, I want to save time, we all want (ice cream) to save time. That's why I've created an interactive console for you developers out there to explore using our API without worrying about writing additional code -- thus saving you time and energy in choosing which API calls to make, how to make them and which data is surfaced to use for custom solutions.

Here's how it works:
  1. You can access the Emma Developer Console here.
  2. Select Basic Auth from the Authentication dropdown list, and enter your Emma username and password. This basic authorization isn't recommended for full implementations of the API, yet it's good for exploring our offerings.
  3. Select API methods from the list on the right, enter parameters if needed in the Template tab and click Send. The HTTP response appears in the right-hand window, including the HTTP status and the data. Learn more about HTTP status codes here.
  4. Additionally, most API calls have optional parameters available for you to use located underneath Query. This will give you access to the data as you want to customize it. If anything seems odd with the Request or Response of your call please click the Snapshot button located at the right and send it our way.
If you have any questions or something is not clear, please let us know! Create a new conversation in Emma Community, and we'll dig in.
