We have a lightbox set up on our website, which I have set up to only show once. However, the lightbox is currently following visitors from one page to the next, appearing every time to click to a new page. Is anyone else having this problem? Looking for suggestions on what could be wrong with the settings.

Hi again!

So, I tested both the  'RD Sign-up' and the 'General Website Sign-up form', and both of those forms are functioning well on our test site. The form only shows up on the specific page assigned and no where else, and doesn't reappear if it has been ex'd out or submitted the form. Do you work with a web developer on your website? I think it could be possible for there to be something interfering with the function of the form. In looking at the 'RD Sign-up', I was unable to get the form to go away or submit when it was active on your site. The form wasn't seen on all pages, but on the page it did display, it stuck there and wouldn't go away if I attempted to ex it out or submit an email address. I believe that the form functions are working as expected, but there could be something on the website that is messing with the form behavior.

I'd advise checking in with the web developer, testing the form script on a blank page of the site to test its function. If it works well there, you can bet on there being something interfering on the page where it has been placed.

There is one more possibility if you're seeing the form show up multiple times, even after it has already been submitted. We display lightbox forms (or not) depending on a browser cookie. If the contact is viewing your site using a browser that's set not to keep cookies, the form might show up on every page, despite the form settings in Emma.  This won't be the case in other browsers that are set to use cookies, however. Does this make sense?

I know this response was rather lengthy, so please let me know if you have any questions! Happy to help.
