Lightbox form not appearing

I placed the code right before the </body> tag in the WP editor. Double checked to make sure I had all the form settings and code correct but lightbox form is still not showing up for me. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

If you're adding the lightbox form to your Wordpress site, you may want to make sure you're making the changes in the footer.php file.

Here's the full instructions for adding the lightbox form to your Wordpress site (taken from the following link at our Resource Center):
  1. To add the embed code to your WordPress website, log in to your WordPress Admin, look for the Appearance option and select Editor.
  2. Look for a list of files on the right side of the screen, and select the footer.php file. Make sure this file contains: <?php wp_footer();?> AND ​</body>

  3. Before the </body> tag and after the <?php wp_footer();?> code, add your lightbox code snippet.
  4. Click update, and you're done.

I also have a WP site and followed your instructions. It's not showing up on my website at all either.

Hey there, I went ahead and answered on your other post and also via Email.  

The short version:  Under TIMING, you had "All EXCEPT the Following Pages" selected, but didn't have any pages listed for exclusion, which was causing the form to not work at all.

Hi there Embellish, 

I popped in to take a look at your site and the lightbox does show up.  I did notice that you have a 180 second delay set on the form, which is round about how long it took for it to populate.  I might recommend shortening that time a bit.  

I also noticed that there were some formatting differences from what showed on your site and what was built in Emma.  This is likely due to some other formatting in your site that is altering the text that we're sending slightly.  You may need to take a look at that to see what could be affecting it.

Typically the answer here lies in the other elements that are in your website.  

I wouldn't be able to troubleshoot that, but often it involves some testing, removing elements of your site and retesting until you see what it is that is affecting the formatting.  

If you have a developer who's been working with you to build your site, they may have more insight into what could be causing that and be able to fix it.
