I built my website with CityMaker 10 years ago. Looking at going with a new web building company. One of the main reasons is because they are not mobile optimized and don't have plans to do so (this is per a conversation with one of their designers). Does anyone have a recommendation for a company to go with? Wix? Web.com. I don't sell anything and one of my biggest features is an extensive Calendar of Events (250 events listed per month) - most popular page.

Hey there! I have worked in Wix quite a bit and they have come a long way in the last couple years. If you don't want to recreate your site maybe take a look at a mobile conversion tool like Duda. Go to this link http://www.dudamobile.com/mobile-website and enter your URL and see a preview. Not sure if that's what you are looking for but Good luck on this journey and Happy Thursday :)

WordPress is another solution. You can use the hosted service at wordpress.com or self-host and have even greater control over what you create. There are many, many themes and plug-ins (like a calendar plug-in) available. If you don't want to think too much about the setup and organization, then one of the other previously mentioned services might be more appropriate.
