One use case is that we'd be able to create a segment of subscribers who clicked on an email link to a random survey platform, and then subsequently completed a survey (viewed a "Thanks for taking the survey" screen. In this case, we'd want to identify specifically "who" clicked through and completed the survey.
Another use case would be if we wanted to be able to create a segment of subscribers who clicked through a sale campaign and purchased something from our bespoke e-commerce site. In this case, we'd want to track who converted, and how much they spent.
I'm wondering, how are other Emma users tracking conversions? A previous email service provider used a tracking pixel that could be installed on any of our partner sites, but I'm not sure if that's the best approach.
