Our client wants to add the 'Manage preferences' link to the body of their email, to prompt members to manage preferences before opting out entirely.  Is there a merge tag for this?

Hi Big River Agency!

There is a way to add the Manage preferences link to the body of the email. They will need to:
-Click in the text box that they would like to have it in
-Go to Insert in the tool bar
-Select personalization in the dropdown
-In the bar that pops up below the tool bar Select Manage URL in the left hand dropdown (originally it will select First name)
it should read [% manage_url %] in the text box.

Hi and thanks for getting this started - after trying it, I found that the URL was pasted in text, not an anchor tag.  I did the following, is there an easier way, for the sake of anyone reading this thread in the future?

- Click in the text box that they would like to have it in.
- Enter text to refer to the link (like "To manage your preferences, click here")
- Select the text that will be the link
- Select the link button on the editor
- Enter [% manage_url %] in the URL input

The process you outlined above is the process for creating the hyperlink. You have outlined the process in the simplest form! Nicely done.
