We need to send some emails with customised URL Links. So basically we need to insert a URL like www.test.com/{Contact_id}. I managed to create a new field in Emma as Short Answer but I can not find the Field Contact Id Field in Salesforce while mapping the merge fields. I tried several Field Types like "Long Answer", "Numerical" etc. How can I fix this issue? Thanks in advance for any help regarding this issue. Thanks. Yours Sam

Hi there!
The default Salesforce contact ID field is an “ID” field type in Salesforce, and that’s not a field type with which Emma for Salesforce maps by default. (Emma offers several field types ranging from “short answer” to “radio button,” and while Salesforce offers these fields, they offer many others that don't perfectly match an Emma field type.) But there is an option that you could consider here!

It requires some custom work on your end which is outside of our realm of support, but you could create a text formula field that will populate on view instead of requiring some criteria for action — basically you’d set it up to use a formula to populate the text value of the Record ID into that custom field. And then you’d use the custom field to sync through the integration.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or if there is anything else I can do to help!
