Do you have information about a "merge field syntax"? Essentially I would like to share a link with another agency that is going to send an email to their list about my client. My understanding is that some email platforms have a "merge field syntax" so that the emailed list can click the link and then get opted into my email list in Emma. Is that possible on your platform?

Hi there!

There is not a merge field syntax in Emma but you can grab the link to a Classic Signup form to include in the campaign so that when contacts from that list want to join your list in Emma, they can complete the signup form and submit their email address.

Take a look at this resource where we discuss Classic Signup forms.  Once the form is created, click on the Publish this form button so that you can grab the url for the signup form to share.  In the popup, copy the url for the form in the Link to it field so that you can use the link in your campaign.

That should do the trick!  Feel free to reach out with any questions.
