Hi there! I need to send multiple emails with multiple personalization tags in it and am looking for a smoother way to do it.

For context: We run an academic program where teachers nominate students. Sometimes a teacher might have two students get into the program, but two others do not. I have to email the teacher/parents/student to tell them which students are accepted, and which ones are not. We've done this in the past by sending out two emails: one with the "{ABC} congrats on your acceptance" and one with a "{XYZ} hey, sorry, try again."  We've ran into some problems with the email being the unique identifier (for teachers particularly, they usually have multiple students not get in and/or do get in) and getting them the info they need - and I'm wondering if there's a better way I should set up the contact files before I upload it, if I should try using segments,...or if I'm trying to push Emma to do something it can't. We have over 200 people apply each session, so trying to get this organized can take hours - I'm hoping you have a suggestion! :) Thank you so much!

Hi!

That is possible, but it would take a good bit of time as well as a bit of technical know-how! The best way to accomplish what you are trying to do is by using our dynamic content feature. You can read about how to create emails using Dynamic Content here:

https://support.e2ma.net/Resource_Center/Account_how-to/How_to_use_dynamic_content

Dynamic content uses information in an audience member's contact record to determine the content that is delivered to their inboxes. Since you can use dynamic content for whole sections of text, this would be your best bet! It will be a pretty labor intensive process; so if you are on a strict deadline and would like our services team to help create this for you, let me know and I will be happy to connect you with them!
