I created in Group in My Emma and want to sync it to Salesforce so when I send the My Emma mailing it is reflected in the activities in Salesforce. How do I do this?

Hello Eugenia! Are you currently using the Emma for Salesforce Integration? If not, that is the place to start. You can download it from the Salesforce App Exchange and install it using this guide.

Once the integration is installed and setup, the mailing data for opens, clicks, and shares of your Emma mailings will sync over to Salesforce in a special section of each contact record called "Emma Response Activity."

Please make sure to check out the FAQ as well so that you know all about the integration!

If you've already got the integration installed and need us to troubleshoot the syncing of the groups or mailings, please let us know!

Cheers!
Heather

Thank you for your reply. Yes, already got the integration and have all the tabs in Salesforce but nothing seem to be Syncing. I guess I do need the troubleshooting.

Thanks,

Since you've already got the integration setup, I'll offer a few more tidbits of information about the syncing!

The Emma mailing data will sync to Salesforce for any mailings created after the sync was initiated. So, previous mailing history will not be synced over.

Additionally, the integration will sync mailing data from opens, clicks, and shares, but will not sync  data to show whether a mailing was only "received." If you're looking for whether a contact has received a mailing, you'll have to rely on Emma for that information. Salesforce will report on whether they have interacted with the mailing in any way. This is expected behavior, and it designed to conserve space within your Salesforce org.

This information will appear under the "Emma Mailings" section of the Emma App inside of your Salesforce org, and in the "Emma Response Activities" section of each contact/lead record in Salesforce.

Also, if you are not seeing the data sync between Emma and Salesforce (for contact records and/or mailings), a good "first step" is to visit the Emma Setup section in your Salesforce org and re-do the steps of the setup. Be especially mindful in Step 1, and be sure to click "Verify" to get a green light on your API keys, and then click "Connect to Salesforce" to ensure that your Emma credentials have been properly entered!

If you still aren't seeing the data correctly, you may grant our team Support Access for further troubleshooting!

Hope this helps!
