need to map the email field

Everytime I try to import a list (new group) it tells me I need to map the email field..I tried restarting my computer and still will not work

Hi there -- Emma uses email address as the unique identifier for your contacts, so you have to map *at least* that field when importing. Here's how it looks in my account:


Your contact fields are on the left in the dropdown menus, and your import file is on the right with the column headers in the first row. You just have to match up the fields with the corresponding data in your file. You can ignore any rows that you don't need in your account. 

Let me know if you still see this error after mapping the email field.
