Only search for contacts in test groups in the editor's Send Test modal

Feels like the "Send Test" feature where it slides out from the side is trying to autofill the email address by searching our entire Audience database. This is giving us some major performance issues. Is there anyway to ask the Send Test feature to only look for email addresses we assign into Test Audiences, rather than all nine million Audiences we have? Thanks.

Hi Liz! I want to make sure I'm understanding: It sounds like when you're on this screen:

you're typing in individual email addresses rather than selecting a test group, right? Is there a reason you aren't choosing the test group?

And it sounds as though you'd like to type in sally@company.com and only search specific group types (test vs. regular) instead of search your audience as a whole, so that Emma recognizes sally@company.com is the Sally you're seeking, even if she's in both test and regular groups in your audience.

Want to be sure I'm on the same page!

Hey Katie - in a perfect world, yes. But part of our challenge is we are not always so great at using our test groups either. I will say - the user, restarted the laptop and it seems to be moving quicker now, so it might have been our error. Thanks for the quick reply too!

I'm glad to hear it's moving more quickly now! Send Test and Review & Send use the same tools to find your contacts, save your subject line, etc., so we would need to rebuild Send Test to get it to only search certain group types.

I don't see us doing that in the near future, but do let me know if I can help talk through how to better use your test groups, and of course let me know if you're still seeing that sluggishness while searching. :)
