Not able to copy image URL from library

I am trying to copy the image URL in the photo library by pressing the "copy image link" button. I click the button to copy, and nothing appears when I go to paste. Has anyone else encountered this error? Is there another way to access the link? Could this mean we have ran out of storage?

Hi Beth, may not be related, but I have regularly had a similar problem when trying to copy a document URL. It was a Flash issue in Chrome. Not sure what my IT people did to fix it, but you can perhaps check with them on this. My issue was always accompanied by the words "Couldn't load plugin" graying out over the Copy Document URL text whenever I hovered the mouse over it.

Hey Vince - thanks for the reply. I did try several browsers (chrome, IE, and Firefox), and all seem to have the same issue. I am not seeing any error messages, and it appears to let me click the button just fine, but when I got to paste the URL is not there.

I also signed into a different My Emma account I utilize - thinking it might be the storage issue - but, that one also wouldn't let me copy the link. I am now thinking this is an error on My Emma's end, but I am going to try to update my browsers to see if that will correct it.

I recall in one instance I also had the same problem in multiple browsers. Not sure if Flash was the culprit at that time as my IT department handled it, it was a while ago. Also, every time it has happened to my team it always coincided with our cloud servers being reset. Anyway sounds like you're doing all the right troubleshooting. I'm sure someone from MyEmma's support will chime in with ideas. Good luck!

Hi Beth!

Sorry to hear about the trouble getting the "copy image URL" function to work. I'd be happy to offer some assistance.

Based on the description of the issue, I'm definitely leaning toward Vince's theory on it being related to whether or not Flash is enabled in your browser's settings. Let's take some steps to ensure that it is indeed enabled and you can give it another try.

Because Chrome has an easy way of enabling/disabling Flash, let's try using that browser for now. Go ahead and log into Emma and navigate to the page where you can access the image library. Once you're there, go ahead and click on the green "Secure" button that is just to the left of the URL bar. You'll see Flash as an option in that dropdown. Let's make sure it is always allowed when on this site. I've attached a (unnecessarily large) screenshot below:

Once you set that to "Allow", give your browser a refresh and try to copy the URL one more time.

I hope this is helpful! Let me know if you have any questions.
