I've noticed that the new response overview export now includes "total clicks" instead of "people who clicked" (unique clicks), aka the CTR listed in response view. Personally, it makes no difference to me except that my past year of statistics is based on people who clicked (unique clicks). The CTR of 36.46% in my export (and basis for my reporting) looks like we've made some phenomenal leap that hasn't actually occurred. Is this a bug or is this a legitimate change that I'll have to work around?

Hi Jessica -- Hmm, I'm checking a few older detailed response exports from before we released the new exports and can see several email addresses listed more than once on the clicks tab. It appears that both exporting processes are showing total clicks rather than unique clicks.

I'd love to see an example of a response that that you've used in your reporting so we can compare! Could you possibly upload one of those files to your documents library for me to take a peek at?
Will you please let me know the name of the account in which you're working? (The account name appears on your Emma invoices. That should be enough for me to jump in and check it out; no need to give the account ID.) Thanks!

Sure! I'll upload the overview I downloaded this morning.

As for the account, we actually have an agency account, likely listed under The American Ceramic Society. The subaccount I'm working in is Ceramic Tech Today.

Hope that helps!

So sorry, Jessica! I was zeroing in on the clicks tab in the old detailed response export. You said overview, but I missed it. :) I'll check in with our development team to find out what the thought behind that change was!

Hi Jessica -- The word from our developers on this is that we're aware of the issue, and we hope to fix it soon! You'll have to adjust your numbers in the meantime, but the intention is to revert this back eventually. Thanks!

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled # of Clicks wrong counts.

Hello MyEmma,

We recently sent out a newsletter. For some links, we received 250 clicks / link, but only 40 unique clicks/link. We downloaded the click spreadsheet and MyEmma showed MANY individuals clicked 10+ times on one link. This didn't make sense to us. It may happen to several extremely interested audience, but we don't think it's right for 90% of our audience. I'm wondering if there are any system errors so that myEmma can't show total clicks number correctly, and we have to only rely on # of unique clicks?

Please help. Thanks a lot!
