Brian at PBS Hawaii. We have an instance where our supporter received a plain text version of our newsletter and it has text the "jumps" to other blocks of text. She is on a Mac. Any Ideas how I can make sure text shows up properly. Is this an encoding issue on her side?

These are screen captures from our viewer who received the plain text version of our newsletter (above). Are Emma's text emails encoded UTF-8? I'm suspecting it may be her use of Alpine as an email client, or iTerm. Any thoughts will be helpful. Thank you and Aloha, -Brian

Hi there Brian,

Thanks for contacting Emma Support!

We took a look at this mailing and, on the plaintext side, everything looks good. So, we're with you in thinking this is a client-side issue. Indeed, Emma supports UTF-8.

Further, we don't support Alpine or iTerm.

Many thanks, especially for the friendly aloha!

Our best,

Adrienne & the Emma team
