Can I repeat the "Share" link to forward the email in the body of the email rather than just on the top? I see from clicking on the share link from another campaign that it looks like a unique URL for each campaign to forward the email. Is there any way to get this URL before the campaign is sent (thus being able to embed a "share" link in my text?

Smart thinking! There is an easy way to accomplish what you're looking to do, because when you create the campaign, you can insert a link to "send to a friend" right in the content of your email using the insert button on the editor toolbar. In a nutshell, you'll type your call to action to share the email, and then put your cursor wherever you want the share option to be. Then click the button on the toolbar that says "Insert" and select "Personalization." The personalization option you need is "Forward URL." I took a screenshot of me setting this up in my account, so you have a visual aid:

I hope this accomplishes your sharing mission! We list some more advanced personalization tips here. So check out our help documentation if you'd like to learn more.

Good morning! Emily's information below notes that we have removed that personalization tag because it wasn't acting properly. Want to try using the tag she offers as a workaround?

Quick update here - we've removed the Forward URL from the personalization menu because it was acting up. As a work around, you can simply link your text using this piece of HTML:

[% share:email url_only="true" %]

By highlighting the text you wish to link to the Share URL and clicking the LINK icon on your formatting toolbar, you can insert the share tag in the URL field. Here's what that looks like:

Hi! I'm having issues with your workaround above when trying to add [% share:email url_only="true" %] to an image. http:// is being automatically added to the beginning. Any workaround for this?

Hi there -- That workaround doesn't apply to images because personalized URL's can't be linked to images. Instead, you can use an HTML block and this little bit of code:

<a href="[% manage_url %]"><img src="image URL goes here"></a>

Where you see "image URL goes here," you want to insert the URL for the image in your library. You can grab that by opening your image library and clicking the down arrow next to the image. There is an option there to "copy image URL."

I hope this is helpful!
