I sent my first campaign (love Emma!), and got back an FYI that the links were broken.  All tests indicated that everything was good to go before hand, and the view as webpage is fine.  However, the email forwarded back to me has different URLs and they do return 404 errors.  Is this related to the Google Analytics snafu I have been reading about?  How do I fix it?  (I am so new at this, I cannot figure it out from the responses - they assume a level of baseline knowledge I simply do not have.)  Btw, if the links really were all broken to the entire list on our first campaign - even though the test email was working, that would be a REALLY bad look for our organization,

Hello!

I'm sorry to hear you are seeing some inconsistencies. I looked at the web version of this mailing and I was able to navigate to all of the links successfully.

Do you know which links, specifically, were causing an error? I don't mind doing some test sends as well to see if I can recreate.

I'll keep an eye out so we can continue working on this.

Thanks!

Hi Zach,

The links for the "join" sections are the broken ones.  For the first one, the big JOIN button, the URL that shows in the sent email is:  https://t.2ema.net/click/zs4tv/rmuf21/zo5vif and it delivers this: http://www.sportsanalyticsprofessionals.com/404.aspx
instead of this: http://www.sportsanalyticsprofessionals.com/page/join

Thank you for whatever direction you can provide.

Best,
Megan

Hi Megan,

It looks like Emma's tracking that is built in to the links included in your mailing is conflicting with that particular web page. The redirects that take place here may be able to be reviewed by your web developer to see if there is something that can be done on the site side to allow this to link properly.

All links go through a redirect (the t.2ema.net link) for us to track all link clicks! To circumvent this for the time being you can place the link that is not being redirected correctly into a link shortener site (like bit.ly) then put the new, shortened link back into your mailing!

With the shortened link, the link will not track clicks but also should navigate properly.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction! Let me know if there is anything else I can help out with.

Zach
